There's likely to be a new movie adaptation of Clue ahead of us. Universal bought indeed the movie rights to the popular board game by Hasbro. For those who don't know, the board game Clue is set in a big mansion where a murder has taken place. The competitors try to uncover who committed the murder, Professor Plum, Ms. White, Col. Mustard, Miss Peacock, Mr. Green or Ms. Scarlet, what murder weapon was used, either a knife, rope, candlestick, wrench, pistol or a lead pipe, and what room the murder was committed in.
Universal's Clue wouldn't be the first movie adaptation of Clue, a first Clue movie was indeed released in 1985:
Director Gore Verbinski was once attached to the new Clue movie, but the film has since fallen in development limbo and I guess he dropped out of the project...
Anyway, stay tuned with us for more information about the new Clue movie.
